Of Merdeka! laptop charger and Um library~

At this time last year, while the other IPBArians are waiting eagerly at the Quadrangle to celebrate Merdeka with the other college staff and lecturers, guess what Mass, Nisha' and I were doing? hahah. We were actually at the UM library trying to break in, in order to get Nisha's charger for her laptop which she beautifoolly left it in the library. I'm pretty serious. No one actually believe me when I told them about this.

That was one funny moment, full of suspens too. I could never imagine I would do such a thing. Breaking in into properties is against the law. We could have been caught and or might be jailed or something and would come out front page "3 Guru Pelatih Ditangkap Ketika Cuba Pecah Masuk" adeih. kene buang daerah dengan mak.

It all started when I was persuading Nisha' to go to the UM library to do some research for our assignments, (yelah lusa nak hantar baru nak buat research). Nisha' was kinda reluctant but my power of persuasion did actually sent us walking veeeeeeeeeryyyy far to reach the UM library. (not to mention that I brought my heavy laptop too ) Once we got there, we studied and did some research. And its time to go home.

That night, when we were ready to discuss our findings in my apartment's hall, suddenly Nisha screamed directly to my ears. *i mcm nak pekak kjp* She was panicked as she lost her laptop charger which is now low on batteries and she cant use other people's charger coz she's the only one pakai mac. (tulah, stylo sangatla konon) *sigh*. We searched high and low through our apartments and rooms but to no avail, it was not found. Nisha' traced back our outing today and she very-very confident that she left the charger in the UM library. adeih. and to make it worst, her laptop dah shut off. *sheeessshh* kalau tak maybe sempat transfer the files into my laptop.

Fortunately, Mas bawak kereta to college and the three of us when to the UM library to get the charger. And yeah, I had to kelentong En Ramlan to go out from the college (diorang kalau bab2 menipu ni mmg bg kat aku) Its actually near 12 pm where the library obviously has closed. We went to the security but pakcik tu tanak tolong, die kate susahla, itulah, inilah. hurm... and then, there we were, sitting like org bodoh depan the library thinking what to do. And then, we made the final decision, by hook or by crook, the charger must be found tonight.

We were squatting behind the bushes so that the security wont find us, and I did actually dukung Mass to the window yang sgt tinggi tapi Mass tak muat masuk dalam tingkap tu. Kalau Mass tak muat, I ngan Nisha' ape ntah lagi. Kitorang mcm pencurik, siap2 pakai baju itam, and sekali pak guard dtg suluh-suluh, terbongkok-bongkok kitorang semunyik dalam semak. semuanya atas dasar persahabatan. keh keh keh. Brape kali jatuh ketike mendukung bebudak due org tu, tapi mungkin kerana kurang skill, kami tak berjaye. Hp pun brape kali bunyi, kawan2 hanta mesej kate aku rugila tak dtg the Merdeka Celebration coz En. Seman bace puisila ape la. Dahla waktu Pak Guard round lak tu, hp bunyik. nasib tak kene cekup.

Tatau nak buat mcm mane dah, kitorang pi la cari student2 UM yang lalu lalang kat situ. Jumpela 3 jejake yang sudi menolong kitorang, walaupun sorang tu mengeluarkan kate2 yang menyebabkan perut aku kecut. "korang percaye eh kat kitorang? malam2 mcm ni" sambil nyale2 lighter kat depan aku. huaaaaa~~~ ape bale lak ni??? Aku pun jawabla, "korang pun percaye kat kitorang eh? mlm2 ni?" w/pun aku rase itulah antara bende paling bodoh pernah aku cakap. Selamat die menmain je.

Selepas beberape kali jatuh dan meniarap untuk mengelak dilihat oleh Pak Guard, salah seorang drpd hero tu berjaye masuk ikut tingkap yang jauh nun tinggi tu dan mendapatkan charger Nisha'. fuuuuhhhhhh~~~

Selepas itu kami pun pergilah menyaksikan bunga api (alang-alang dah kluar kan?) and went back to college to finish our assignments. And the following week, Nisha' membelanja kitorang dan hero 3 orang itu di Amjal. Sekian cerite malam merdeka saye pade tahun 2005.
